Welkom’s own star body builder, Frans Hloi, has just returned from Indonesia, where was placed third in the World Fitness Federation (WFF) World Indonesia body building competition’s world championship professional category.
Hloi’s lifelong dream of representing South Africa came true when he competed in the WFF’s championship in Mandalika, on Lombok Island in Indonesia, from 18 to 20 November.
He has won a string of commendable accolades attached to his name throughout his body building career.
In November 2021, Hloi earned his pro card at the WFF South Africa Pro-Am Body Building Championships.
This was the first WFF South Africa Pro-Am championship to be held in two years, after the stringent and restrictive Covid-19 regulations.
In the men’s fitness body building section, Hloi was placed first, and in the men’s body building professional line-up he was placed third.
