A desperate search for the four-year-old Hlonolofatso Ntherisi has still not yielded results.

A joint search was conducted by the South African Police Service (SAPS), the SAPS Airwing and community members on Saturday (12/03).

They scoured the area where the child had gone missing.

Hlonolofatso was last seen in front of her grandmother’s house, number 7340, in Thabong on 5 March.

She had been wearing a black tracksuit top and black tights. She was barefoot.

According to Capt. Stephen Thakeng, police spokesperson, thorough searches have been conducted in the area since the child was reported missing last week.

On Saturday the police search was intensified when the SAPS Airwing was called in.

“Houses and bushes were searched in an attempt to find the child,” says Thakeng.
