Miguel Sardinha, who was a Gr. 12 learner at Welkom-Gimnasium last year, is among the top 100 matric learners in the Free State. He obtained seven distinctions, with an average of 93,29%. His subjects were: English home language (88%), Afrikaans first additional language (90%), Mathematics (93%), Life Orientation (97%), Accounting (98%), Consumer Studies (93%) and Life Sciences (94%). He is also a top ten Accounting achiever in the Free State.
