Acting on information received on Youth Day, members of the Welkom Public Order Police (Pop) task team seized dagga and cash at a house in Mmamahabane, Ventersburg.
A 25-year-old-man was arrested.
While members were returning to the police station, they stopped at another house known for dagga dealings in the Phahameng informal settlement of Mmamahabane.
The police found 12 rounds of R5 rifle ammunition.
The 28-year-old man found with the ammunition in his posession could not produce a licence for this and was arrested for possession of unlicensed ammunition.
