Due to a sewage flood on the rugby field of the Welkom Technical High School (THS), the Welkom People’s Market has been moved to a new venue.
Exhibitors felt the school’s sports grounds was a safe and secure venue.
The Autumn Market on Saturday, 8 March, will be held in the parking area at Rovers Squash Club in Tempest Road, between 08:00 and 13:30.
“Due to sewer problems at the sports ground, the market had to move. We are grateful for this rescue, and trust this is going to be a great market.
“From nuts to pillows, rusks to delicious coffee, clothes to toys, and food to skincare. Your shopping options are unlimited,” says market convenor, Dulcie Harris.
