The Bultfontein SAPS have arrested a 30-year-old woman after a 29-year-old man fatally stabbed with a broken glass bottle in Phahameng, Bultfontein.
It is alleged that on Saturday, 29 March, at about 03:05 police were summoned to a complaint of fighting in Phahameng. When they arrived at th scene they found an adult African male lying motionless on the ground. He had been stabbed near his ear. According to witnesses there had been an argument between a couple. Allegedly the female suspect stabbed her boyfriend with a broken bottle. He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services.
The 30-year-old female suspect was subsequently arrested for murder.
