The police in Meloding seek assistance from the public in locating Tsholofelo Ashley Khothule (34), last seen on 12 December 2023.

Khothule was a construction worker and according to a colleague of his, he reported to his mother that he will be moving to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, soon.

His mother tried to reach him on the phone several times but was unsuccessful. She then decided to ask his friends and girlfriend, who then reported back to the mother that they could not get hold of him either.

When Khothule’s mother tried calling his number again, his phone was answered by a man speaking IsiZulu.

The matter was reported to the police and a missing person file was registered for further investigation.

Investigations revealed that Khothule was allegedly seen in Durban’s South Beach as a street vendor. He is light in complexion, of medium build, black short hair, and short in height.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black jeans, a purple t-shirt, and black All Star sneakers.

Anyone with information that will help bring Khothule safely home, should please contact Det Sgt Ntombi Radebe of Meloding Detective Services on 082-466-8025 or the Crime Stop number 08600-10111. Alternatively, they can share information on the MySAPS App.
