A foreign national was arrested in Thabong for being in possession of a police bunny jacket.
On 10 August, members of Crime Intelligence received information about a person using a police jacket to commit robberies. The Provincial Anti Gang Unit received information and set out to investigate a room in a hostel in Thabong.
A male suspect was found with a police bunny jacket valued at R1 000. Also, he did not have legal documents to be in South Africa. The 25-year-old foreign national was arrested for possession of a suspected stolen police uniform and illegal immigration.
