Renowned Goldfields artist DJ Taaibos has just released his second commercial Amapiano single, titled “Our Time (Part 2 of 2)”.
This single was officially released on 1 March and has so far been well received across the country.
With the lyrics, Taaibos features two local female vocalists from Welkom. They are Queen Lina and Miss Phozlee.
He also worked with a local music producer, Lil Fairy RSA (real name Mpho Petrose Maphutsi), who is also from Welkom.
In 2023, during the festive season, Taaibos released a deep piano single titled “Our Time (Part 1 of 2)”. Both of his most recent singles are published and distributed by an American-based company, Verseone Media LLC, which ensures that they are both made available worldwide on all digital music stores and also on social media platforms.
He signed a contract with this company in November 2023.
Taaibos, who hails from Vergenoeg, a suburb of Bronville, Welkom, is no stranger to having his work garnering attention on an international level.
He also owns the BellaDiosa Talent and Sports Agency (formerly called BellaDiosa Models).
This agency was established in Welkom and from 2015 to 2017 the agency was nominated consecutively at the international Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA) that are held annually in America.
Taaibos is also an events coordinator, artist manager, modelling agent, businessman, and a former resident DJ at Motheo FM in Bloemfontein, Cosmo FM in Johannesburg, and Bokamoso FM in Maseru, Lesotho.
He is also a former entertainment columnist at the Free State Sun and a founding member of the now defunct The Rock FM, a Lejweleputswa-based community radio station.
Additionally, Taaibos is known to have been a former celebrity brand ambassador of Afribatho Designs store in Welkom.
This multifaceted performer has also made television appearances on different TV shows and music videos.
