The RCFA Bhubezi Fight Club is proud to celebrate a major milestone following the recent National Black Grading event held in Parys during the weekend of 5 and 6 December.
“The club had multiple students who were selected for the RCFA Presidential Team – a powerful achievement for both the dojo and the Free State martial arts community,” says Sensei Joe Gladstone Ralejoe.
Sensei Joe, head instructor of the RCFA Bhubezi Fight Club, was honoured with selection to the Presidential Team of Officials for the upcoming 2026 World Championships. Additionally, during the RCFA annual general meeting, he was appointed the provincial head for RCFA Free State.

The successful grading results are as follows:
■ Brandon Kelly (1st Yellow Belt).
■ Gofaone Sebati (1st Yellow Belt).
■ Keagan Smith (1st Green Belt).
■ Sensei Joe Gladstone Ralejoe (3rd Degree Black Belt).
“These achievements mark a significant boost for Free State martial arts development. With several advanced students now excelling nationally, the club is ready to welcome a new generation of beginners and grow the sport even further within the province,” Sensei Joe explained.
