A brand new solution to homeschooling, without reliance on the internet, is now possible through Brainline’s Brain-in-a-Box.
Brain-in-a-Box is ideal for families in rural areas and in places with unstable or limited internet connectivity.
It has been compiled in line with the South African curriculum, and is an excellent support product for learners in traditional schools.
This innovative solution is the latest product from Brainline, which has been providing homeschool solutions for learners in Gr. R to Gr. 12 for over 37 years. Brainline was the first online homeschooling provider to receive recognition from the Independent Examination Board (IEB).
Brain-in-a-Box offers a complete home education product in all subjects for Gr. 4 to Gr. 7. It is available in Afrikaans or English and includes complete video lessons and assessment.
Subjects for these grades include Afrikaans, English, Mathematics, Life Skills, Natural Science and Technology, as well as Social Science (Geography and History).
The learning plan is loaded onto a USB device that can be used on an Apple Mac and Windows computer.
Learners can, with the help and supervision of a parent or guardian, easily access the academic material from the USB device on the computer.
Applications are interactive and user-friendly, and guidelines for marking and self-study are included in the portfolio pack of tasks and tests.
