As we approach the end of the first quarter of 2025, it becomes imperative for us to have sensory equity with regards to where we find ourselves in relation to the dreams and goals we envisioned for ourselves this year.
It is easy to become distracted by the noise of our environments, especially when they present challenges that invoke a sense of hopelessness or negativity.
Most often the lack of control we have over external influences can govern the climate of our inner world and thought patterns.
Proverbs 4: 25-27 instructs us with these words: Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.
Do not get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil. We have a responsibility to ensure that we keep our focus in check.
We must recognise that the dreams our Father has for us are far greater than any external force that could come against us, as 1 John 4: 4 declares: Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Additionally, Hebrews 12: 1 says: Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. I encourage you to keep your eyes focused on what our Father is calling you to this year and to remain resolute to attain it.
May we not regret missed opportunities for growth and increased resilience, but rather enjoy the fruits of faith-filled perseverance.
