A case of inquest was registered in September after a human skull was found in an open field at the De Rust farm in Almalskraal road, Virginia.
There were also no clothes found nearby and according to the Virginia police, so far no one has been reported missing.
The police are appealing to residents in the surrounding area of the Virginia district to report their missing relatives or loved ones, and to consult with Virginia police instantly.
