A good few years ago at a conference, Past. Ray McCauley was sharing on what it means to have revival.
He said revival is when you bring someone back to life.
We need God to breathe life back into the church to revive it. The result of that will be many people coming to know and recognise Jesus as their saviour.
In 2 Chronicals 7:14 we read: if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
It is time for the church to rise up. It is time for the church to seek God’s face.
In Matthew 28:18-20 we are told: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
We, members of the church, are called to go, to act, and to do. If we do not do it who will?
All that is required for evil to prevail, is if we, as members of the church, continue to sit back and do nothing.
We have the mandate to get up and go. Why are we still sitting? Let us heed the call.
