Due to technical glitches, Welkom residents have been experiencing difficulties when trying to contact the Welkom 10111 Call Centre during load shedding hours.
To overcome this problem, residents are advised to rather use the centre’s cell phone numbers until further notice. They are: 064-874-2395 (Vodacom) or 071-787-1743 (MTN).
“Together we can do more to eradicate crime,” reminds Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa police.
