An eight-year-old boy has gone missing in Thabong.
Bokang Karedi (8) was last seen by his grandmother on Saturday, 05 November, at about 08:05 in Constantia Road, Thabong.
According to his grandmother, she last saw him at home when she left to attend a funeral.
“At about 13:15 when she came back, she realized that the boy was not at home. The grandmother thought her grandson went to play with friends as usual and he will return back home,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa police.
By 17:00 when the child had not yet returned home, his grandmother started to look for him at all of the places where he usually plays, but she could not find him.
On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue tracksuit, a blue short sleeve t-shirt, and was barefoot. He is short, dark in complexion, and speaks Sesotho.
A missing person file was registered for further investigation and a police search has been initiated. No photo is available of the missing child.
