In another effort to improve service delivery, the Matjhabeng Local Municipality has established a one-stop call centre which will integrate all departments and functions of the municipality.


In another effort to improve service delivery, the Matjhabeng Local Municipality has established a one-stop call centre which will integrate all departments and functions of the municipality.

“The municipality understands the problems experienced by some of its ratepayers when they communicate with the municipality,” says Khojane Matutle, marketing and branding manager for the Matjhabeng Local Municipality.

“All the frustrations of being sent from pillar to post or holding the line for ages will soon be history.”

The call centre is the municipality’s attempt to redress this problem. Every enquiry that is done by the ratepayer regarding municipal services will be addressed.

“It will no longer be necessary to call several numbers before actually getting help.”

According to Bibi Linoko, manager of the Customer Care Centre, the call centre will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Ratepayers can dial 087-728-2111 or make use of the WhatsApp line on 079-885-3311.
