The Virginia police are looking for the 21-year-old man who disappeared after allegedly assaulting his niece, and then arguing with his father.

Medupe Quinton Mofokeng was last seen on Tuesday, 24 January, in Merriespruit.

“He allegedly assaulted his niece and was reprimanded by his father. Apparently he later assaulted his niece again and had an argument with his father,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa SAPS.

Thakeng says Mofokeng was seen sitting outside of his house for a few minutes after the altercation, and his niece went to play outside.

After that niece went inside the house and informed her grandfather that her uncle had left the premises. He never came back.

Medupi is light in complexion, and he could be 1,7 m tall. He has two silver teeth in his lower jaw. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black Nike shorts and maroon Vans sneakers.

Anyone with information about the young man is requested to contact Det. Sgt. Motsamai Radiopane of the Virginia Detective Services on 079-373-3970 or 057-910-8280 during office hours.
