The Embrace Ambition organisation visited the Ngwetsi ya Maqheku centre for the elderly in Thabong on Human Rights Day on 21 March.
They offered their services, which included cleaning, cooking, feeding the elderly and playing games.
This non-profit organisation (NPO) based in Welkom is run by Nomsa Molifi, and it aims to give back to the community by offering services, says Serame Phakisi, chairperson.
Olga Seate, member of the mayoral committee (MMC) for special programmess supplied them with cleaning materials.
