The 2024 Goldfields Game Ranch Trail Run has been postponed to 2025.
The event, which would have taken place on 16 November, has been rescheduled on the Athletics Free State (AFS) Activity List to 7 November 2025.
This annual run is hosted by the Eskom Athletic Club Free State, and follows shortly on the heels of the annual women’s race in August.
“Due to logistical challenges the management, the main sponsors and the beneficiary have made the difficult decision to postpone the event to 2025. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved, and this decision ensures we can deliver an event that meets the highest standards,” says Hilde du Plessis, Eskom Athletic Club Free State chairperson and the event organiser.
All registrations, sponsorships and commitments will remain valid, and any new adjustments or necessary information will be shared promptly in planning the 2025 event.
All entries received online will be provided with a full refund, and the entry points will call the participants who already entered – to be refunded in full.
