The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has introduced an online service.

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has introduced an online service.

Consumers can now submit their complaints online.

The acting national consumer commissioner, Thezi Mabuza, says consumers often complain about the process when they submit complaints.

The portal also makes it easy and possible for consumers to log in and see the status of their complaints.

Consumer registration is verified by the department of home affairs and as such consumers are requested to use correct names and ID numbers as they appear in their ID books.

The complaint handling process is further explained on the website: www.thencc.org.za/complaints or call contact center on 012-428-7000.
