Get a new perspective for your life by living from the inside out

I was reminded the other day of the time I met Jesus Christ.

Just before that life changing moment, I was in a hopeless state.

I had no sense of vision or future and Welkom didn’t seem to be any better off.

Most of my friends were leaving town or country looking for better opportunities and I wanted out too.

Then I encountered the love of Christ. Something radically changed. For the first time ever I experienced inner peace and true joy and it was great to be alive in Welkom again.

I wasn’t subject to circumstances or my environment, but was internally motivated. The sky was blue and I heard the birds chirping and I started seeing everything in 4 k colour.

What had changed? Welkom was still the same place and had the same challenges, but I had changed. My perspective on life had changed.

I was awakened to the truth and started seeing life through God’s eyes.

The Bible talks about this as the new birth or being born again through the Spirit of God (John 3:7) and gives us entrance into new possibilities. God is hopeful and can only give life, therefore we need His perspective for our family, business and city. Jesus put it this way.

Pray like this: “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

So what do we find in heaven? A realm or place that is brimming with life and hope.

In fact, Jesus’ main purpose in coming to earth was to reintroduce this hopeful life from God’s perspective.

It’s an inner state of being that becomes an outward manifestation. So what is it that you need in this time for your life, family or business?

Get a different perspective. Get God’s perspective. Ask Him to give you hope and creative solutions for your situation.

What He has for you starts to change you and becomes the very thing you need to influence the environment around you. Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. In other words, your status and situation changes when you acknowledge your need for God. – Past. Emmanuel Archontakis, Kingdom Ministries of Christ
