The Goldfields Hospice Association is a non-profit organisation (NPO) that relies on the kindness of donations and fundraising efforts to continue providing vital services to patients in need.
One of the ways to contribute to this wonderful cause is by visiting their Butterfly Box secondhand shop, where a wide range of pre-loved items – from clothing to household equipment – can be found at affordable prices.
The shop is open every Tuesday from 09:00 to 12:00, making it the perfect spot to explore and discover hidden treasures.
Currently, the Goldfields Hospice Butterfly Box secondhand shop is in urgent need of winter clothing and blankets, but they appreciate any donations that can be spared.
In addition to the secondhand shop, the hospice also hosts quarterly fundraising events, including their annual golf day, which will be held on Saturday, 9 August, at the Oppenheimer Golf Club in Welkom.
To stay updated on these events, follow the Hospice Facebook page.
By participating in or supporting these events, individuals can play a significant role in helping the organisation continue its vital work.
The Goldfields Hospice offers a range of services to support patients, including medical equipment and hospital bed rentals, as well as high-quality diapers for purchase. These services are designed to provide comfort and relief to those in need, and by supporting the organisation, individuals can help ensure that these services continue to be available.
