The Sisters Movement plans their first annual Spring Fun Day to take place on Saturday in Bronville, promising all a boatload of family fun.
According to Shonelle Moalusi, a member, this is the perfect event to enjoy with the whole family.
“There will be something for everyone, with face painting, jumping castles, water slides, and food and snack stalls available for additional treats,” says Moalusi.
The Sisters Movement is a woman-owned organisation from Bronville that was formed to assist the disadvantaged and make Bronville a better place.
“Our hope is for change in Bronville, teaching our children that there is hope for a better future and that together we can bring about change for our next generation.”
Moalusi says the Spring Family Fun Day is one of many events hosted by the organisation.
“We embarked on a cleaning campaign with the youth of Bronville at the beginning of the year, as well as a Mother’s Day luncheon in May and a Father’s Day braai in June.
“We have so many disadvantaged kids in and around our community who have never been to a fun park; therefore we wanted to bring that experience to them to enjoy in Bronville as a community.”
The event takes place in the Bronville park from 09:00. For more information, call Evanthea Rosland on 084-702-0862.
