Finish with big smiles

A group of 44 long distance runners from Welkom participated in the gruelling, but spectacular, Totalsports Two Oceans Ultra Marathon on Saturday and the notorious half marathon, 21 km on Sunday. Noticeable top achievers were the Team Vitality Twins Nkhetheni Masupa (Category 2nd position, silver medals in both 56 km and 21 km) and Abe Nkomo (silver medals in both 56 km and 21 km). Jacob Mothokoa received his Blue Number, meaning that he successfully completed his 10th ultra marathon. Welkom runners who completed both the 56 km and 21 km were Nkhetheni Masupa, Abe Nkomo, Colin Delport and Mantsali Mokoebetane
