A total of 67 models will be taking part in a national series of outdoor fashion shows that will be held in Welkom, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Durban.
The models are all signed to the BellaDiosa Talent & Sports Agency, which operates from Virginia, Welkom, Bloemfontein and Thaba Nchu.
“Models from other modelling agencies have also been invited to take part. , and
“There will also be an online entry for models who are not under any modelling agency,” says Mesh Taaibos of BellaDiosa.
He says the aim of this national series of outdoor fashion shows is to promote modelling in the Free State and expose aspiring models to professional modelling.
“There will also be modelling workshops for all of the participating models,” says Taaibos.
Through this series, they also want to create a platform for young and local fashion designers to showcase their work through these 67 models.
“The use of 67 models is inspired by the Nelson Mandela Day’s 67 minutes campaign,” says Taaibos.
The Outdoor Fashion Show National Series will start in Welkom on 19 December, followd by Bloemfontein on 25 February 2023, and then Johannesburg on 8 April 2023.
The series will end in Durban, during the Durban July 2023 weekend.
Models, local clothing brands and fashion designers are invited to take part in the 67 Models Outdoor Fashion Show.
