Rotor, motor and bike enthusiasts from all over the country, and more specifically the Goldfields, travelled to see and experience the spectacular wheels on display at the Riebeeckstad High School on 6 August.

The bikes ranged from small kiddies’ motorcycles to the latest Harley Davidsons and BMW’s.

Capital Sounds kept the crowd well-informed and provided toe-tapping music, and Gold FM presenters did live broadcastscrossings from the Riebeeckstad High School to the studios in Welkom.

“The crowd was awe inspired by the beautiful French Gazelle, owned and flown by Mike Walsh. Classic cars in all shapes and sizes were proudly displayed by their owners,” says Brian Emmenis, one of the commentators during the day.

The event also introduced the VistaShowcase Pavilion. Here various bikes and cars were showcased, and details of the respective vehicle or bike on display were given to the public.

Louis Kruger was the commentator at the pavillion.
