The much-anticipated Rotor, Motor and Bike Show will be held at the Riebeeckstad High School on 6 August.


The much-anticipated Rotor, Motor and Bike Show will be held at the Riebeeckstad High School on 6 August.

Presented by Capital Sounds, Vista and GoldFM, and hosted by the Welkom Classic Car Club, the show will present a variety of helicopters, including the elegant Gazelle and the impressive Alouette 2 and 3, as well as the Bell Jet Ranger.

A large number of exotic motor­cycles and a collection of classic cars, including the ever popular Porsches, Aston Martins, Citroëns, some classic Fords and a whole lot of older than 25-year-old favourites of yester­year, will also be on display.

This extravaganza is homegrown, with the internatinal broadcasting team Capital Sounds, which is based in Riebeeckstad, as the broadcaster and Vistaand GoldFM as the media partners.

Gates open at 08:00.

There will be a large variety of specialised stalls, with an offering including model replicas of classic favourites, as well as motoring must-haves.

Tickets cost R30 for adults, R10 for children and children under 12 enter for free (if they pass the exciting age verification test).
