The Welkom Cars in the Park exhibition that will be held at the Welkom Technical High School (THS) sports grounds on Saturday (01/10) promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting Goldfield events this year.
More than 350 cars from all over the country will congregate in Welkom, and 3 000 spectators are expected to throng through the gates.
“The Thunder Tour will spoil us with some of their beauties,” says Danie Correia, chairman of the Old Auto Club, which is hosting the event.
Entertainment for children will be provided by the Welkom SPCA.
The gates open at 08:00. Tickets cost R30.
“It promises to be a fun-filled family day with a flea market, beer tent, lucky draws and much more.”
