The Thabong Police Station Commander, Brig. Envor Solomon, has welcomed three new Isuzu pickup vehicles to the station’s fleet, marking a significant boost to crime prevention capabilities ahead of the festive season.
Two of the vehicles will be deployed to Visible Policing operations under the Community Service Centre (CSC), whilst the third will be utilised by the Crime Room for investigations.

The handover ceremony was conducted on Monday 24 November, alongside chairperson of the Thabong Community Police Forum (CPF), Ntsane Tsoaela, and CPF public relations officer, Maboea Hanyane.
The CPF chairperson marked the occasion as a significant step forward in crime combating efforts, highlighting the importance of police-community collaboration in maintaining safety.
Lt Col. Simon Ceba and Capt. Stephen Gulling received the two vehicles allocated to the Thabong CSC, whilst
Lt Col. Matshediso Rulufu accepted one vehicle on behalf of the Thabong Crime Room.
Brig. Solomon expressed appreciation for the additional resources, stating that these vehicles will be crucial in improving service delivery and crime prevention efforts during the festive season and beyond.
“The allocation of these resources is expected to intensify police response to situations whilst enhancing police visibility to ensure safer communities for all,” Solomon noted.
