A Kutlwanong drug dealer was arrested after community members pointed him out to the police.
The man was arrested on 10 May by police who were conducting social crime prevention in Odendaalsrus. “Residents of Kutloanong informed them about a person selling drugs in a house in K9 Section of Kutloanong Odendaalsrus. The information was operationalised and the house was identified and approached on 9 May at about 11:10.
The suspect was approached and permission was granted to search the house.
They found two plastic bags containing powder like drugs, each in a small plastic package, 56 small plastic packages containing drugs and R947,10 cash.
A 34-year-old suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs. He will appear on 13 May in the Odendaalsrus Magistrate’s Court.
