Drivers show what they are capable of

The Siyadlala Best Lady Driver event, during which the top 15 female taxi drivers competed against one another, took place on Saturday, 23 November.

In the semifinals, Thilisiwe Ntsimbi drove against Gladys Masinga, and Sisi Ludada went up against Boitumelo Mphike.

In the finals it was Ntsimbi versus Mphike.

Ntsimbi won the Best Lady prize of R3 000 and the R1 500 Kwik Fit tyres voucher.

Mphike won the second prize of R1 000, and the third place and prize went to Masinga, who won herself R500.

The next taxi games will be the Mantsopa Vintage Experience, Legends of Heritage on 30 November at the Welkom Showgrounds.

Both men and women drivers will be competing against one another on this day, showcasing their taxi driving skills using both a taxi and a trailer.
