Disgruntled with new ‘residents’ on farm

Khotso Mabasu, the ever-beleaguered farmer from Hennenman, is now faced with a new offensive. On Monday (12/06) he discovered not only a large consignment of new refuse on his farm, but that dump dwellers have now also illegally moved onto the farm to process the refuse being dumped there. Mabasu’s pleas for clemency from the Matjhabeng Municipality have thus far fallen on deaf ears. Fires emanating from the refuse tip have destroyed infrastructure, as well as stretches of grazing and crop fields. He has also lost five Bonsmara cattle to this untenable situation.
