Two parolees were found in violation of parol conditions in Thabong.
On Wednesday (26/07) members of the police and Community Policing Forum (CPF) from all sectors joined the Department Of Correctional Services and Virginia correctional centre in monitoring five parolees on house arrest, who were allowed to serve a part of their sentence in the community.
The parolees are closely monitored to ensure they comply with parole conditions.
Relevant questions were asked and parolees also shared how they had a chance to rebuild trust within their communities and mend their ways.
Two of the five parolees monitored were not found at their place of residence, which resulted in the violation of their parole conditions. Disciplinary action will be given pertaining the severity of the infraction by the Department Of Correctional Services.
