Op dieselfde tyd as die gholf word om 08:00 ‘n 5km-gesinspretdraf aangebied. Elke deelnemer kry ‘n medalje. Skryf in op entryninja.com – dit kos R305 per speler. Die gholfdag is oop. The Welkom Publicity Association Mother’s Day Market will be held in the parking area of the Rovers Squash Club in Tempest Road, from 08:00 to 13:30. There will be stalls galore.
15 and 16 May
The Amari School in Welkom is to present the annual MelodrAmari entitled Candy Land. The shows will be held in the Ferdi Meyer Hall. Tickets for the Thursday show, which includes supper, cost R120. Community Policing Forum (CPF) Bingo Night fundraiser at the Goldfields Casino, 18:30 for 19:00. A fee of R150 gets you five rounds, extra tickets will be sold at R20 each. Six Anglo Gold Ashanti pension and medical aid meetings have been scheduled in Welkom for 2025. These will be held on 27 February, 29 May and 28 August.
