Rugby and braais go hand in hand. Make this delicious curry noodle salad for your rugby quests when you are watching the Springboks play in the Word Cup final on Saturday.
I N G R E D I E N T S
• 1 packet noodles (screws)
• 1 green pepper, diced
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 tsp hot curry powder
• 7 ml salt
• 250 ml tomato sauce
• 125 ml oil
• 125 ml vinegar
• 250 ml sugar
P R E PA R AT ION
1. Cook the noodles until soft but firm.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry onion and green pepper until onions are transparent.
3. Add salt and pepper and fry a little.
4. Add curry powder and cook through.
5. Add tomato sauce and cook through.
6. Add sugar, vinegar and oil. Cook through.
7. Let mixture cool a little.
8. Pour over noodles and mix. Serve hot or cold.
- Optional you can add a can of sliced peaches (diced)
