The parolee, who in anger threw a bucket of faeces on a clinic worker in Thabong, will remain in custody until his bail hearing in September.
The man was allegedly disgruntled by the services he received at the clinic.
On 26 July, at about 10:00, a 38-year-old African male entered the Thabong clinic premises and alleged that the employee of the clinic never provided his tablets the previous day.
He then proceeded to pour human faeces on the victim. Clinic files, a heater, a kettle, cups, and filing cabinets were also affected.
The suspect was arrested and charged on 30 July and released on warning to appear in the Welkom Magistrates’ Court on 7 August. The case has been postponed to 2 September.
