The Bronville police are urgently looking for Karl Lukas, who went missing on Sunday, 5 February. Lucas was last seen at his home in Aurora Street.

“He left the house as he usually does, and his brother David then went to sleep. When at 11:00 Karl had not returned, David reported him missing at the police,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa police.

Thakeng says the Bronville police need the community to help trace the missing Karl.

“Karl has not returned home, and his whereabouts are unknown. David accompanied the police to the Bronville taxi rank, as they had a lead that he might be there, but no-one had seen him,” says Thakeng.

According to his brother, Karl has a mental disability. Karl is dark in complexion, has a slender build, black afro hair, and sports a moustache. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a brown cap, blue t-shirt, black jeans and black formal shoes.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Lukas, must contact Det. Sgt Sello Mpedi of the Bronville Detective Services on 073-479-5572 or, alternatively, the Crime Stop number 08600-10111.
