The Welkom branch of the SANBS held its Annual Election Meeting (AEM) for 2023-’24.
Donor committee members voluntarily give of their time and resources to recruit donors and educate communities about the importance of blood donation. They are ambassadors for the SANBS.
The branch re-elected George Neyschen as chairperson, Danie Gelderbloem as deputy chairperson and Robert van Vuuren agreed to stay and serve on the committee for another year.
Three passionate and committed donors were welcomed onto the committee: Pitso Moreko, Joy Makhathe and Daniel Senokoto.
They would like to encourage the Welkom community to join the SANBS family.
