The relationships he has nurtured and the initiatives he has spearheaded have strengthened our community in ways that will last for years to come.
Kotzee’s unwavering commitment to the community of Lejweleputswa in general sets a powerful example.
He has been crisscrossing the entire region, fostering greater community engagement and addressing key social issues.
His work has transformed certain neighbourhoods and schools to get rid of drugs. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life is one of his greatest strengths.
Kotzee’s empathy and active listening skills have enabled him to address the community’s needs effectively, even if he is not working in government, nor operating as a councillor.
He is a true leader and beacon of positive change in Lejweleputswa, in a time when positive role models are more important than ever before.
Kotzee has been using the Goldfields Mall parking area as a meeting point with community members.
He has formed WhatsApp groups in wards to assist the community in opening businesses and to connect them to various departments.
This stands out as a testament to his commitment.
These groups have provided a safe and nurturing environment to over 14 782 individuals, offering a variety of programmes that have helped reduce delinquency rates by up to 30%.
