The Ring Contact Fighting Arts (RCFA) Bhubezi Fight Club recently competed at the All-Out War Tournament held in Potchefstroom. This event also served as the official 2025 Free State provincial team trials.
The club delivered an outstanding showing, with two students featured on the main card.
Brandon Kelly stepped into the ring for the Junior South African (SA) Millennium Title in the under 65kg division. His performance was both disciplined and powerful, reflecting his experience and commitment to the sport.
In another highlight, Siyabonga Gina made his official debut in the full contact category, marking a significant milestone in his martial arts journey.
The other results are:
■ Gofaone Sebati received gold in the semi-contact high kick and Bo staff fighting categories, a silver for baton fighting , and a bronze for the series mode.
■ Siyabonga Gina received gold for full contact high kick.
■ Kelly received gold for Bo staff fighting, semi–contact sport boxing, Millennium, and a bronze for the second series.
■ Mohale Notha received three silver medals for sports boxing and high kicks, Millennium, as well as a bronze for series.
■ Steven Nkgadima received two silver medalsfor low kick and Millennium.
The head instructor Joe Gladstone Ralejoe expressed pride in the team’s performance, noting that the club continues to grow in both skill and national recognition.
“The RCFA Bhubezi Fight Club remains committed to developing young athletes and preparing them for success on and off the mat.
“This tournament was very important to us a club, as it brings us closer to our goal of competing at the 2026 RCFA World’s Championships.”
