This year the Welkom Classic Car Club chose to select two beneficiaries to share in the proceeds of the annual Motor, Rotor and Bike Show.

A whopping R10 000 was divided between the two beneficiaries, the Charotte Moll Home in Virginia, and the Sonskyn Project in Welkom.

The awards were made during the club’s yearend function on Saturday, 26 November, in Riebeeckstad.

Longstanding club members and special guests received commemorative plaques and specially designed club trophies in honour of the late club chairman, Craig Evans.

A special tribute was paid to Evans by the acting club chairman, Etienne Joubert.

Liesl Evans, organiser of the Motor, Rotor and Bike Show handed out the plaques and trophies during the award ceremony.
