The Welkom Classic Car Club has had a busy schedule since March and members have visited big shows like the De Oude Wielen Car show in Bothaville, the Bothaville Car show and the OFS Vintage Car Club show in Bloemfontein.
Club members enjoy being out and about in the vintage cars and can often be seen at hotspots like Roxy’s in Welkom.
Two of the founder members of the Welkom Classic Car Club, Stephen Coetzee and Zack Lombard, accompanied by their wives, Avrille and Jill, attended the OFS Vintage Car Club show in Bloemfontein on 1 May.
On 15 March, members of the club attended the De Oude Wielen Car show in Bothaville, and proud new member Pieter Lategan showed off his 1958 Mercedes Benz 190.
The club currently boasts with 34 members, and plus their spouses makes this a solid community of 68 avid old car lovers.
