The Virginia SAPS has a new station commander at its helm, and she means business.
Col Senobia Solomon has been appointed as the new station commander of the Virginia SAPS. She was appointed by the provincial commissioner of the Free State, Lt Gen. Baile Motswenyane.
Solomon started her career on 19 March 1991 as a constable at the Bronville police station. She then moved to Maokeng Visible Policing in 1994 and Kroonstad Support Finance in 1997. In 2000 she was promoted to Thabong Support Finance. She was appointed as support commander of the Thabong Police Station in 2014.
Solomon’s vision is for Virginia to be a role model within the Free State. She has pledged to continue to serve residents of Virginia to the best of her ability.
“The SAPS cannot eradicate crime alone, but together as Virginia management and residents, we shall continue to squeeze the space to zero for criminals,” says Solomon.
