A potjiekos competition to assist children in the Goldfields who are in need will be held at the Welkom Club Ladies Bar on Saturday, 27 April.
The competition is scheduled to start at 09:00 and continue until 18:00, with plenty of entertainment arranged for children.
The beneficiaries of this initiative are the House of Hope and the youth care centres.
The contest’s entry fee is R150.
“We are looking for sponsors and any type of donation, be it clothes, blankets, food, toys, bedding and so on.
“We are asking the community to please support the cause,” says Eileen Adams of the Remax real estate company, the host of the event.
