The police in Thabong have intensified investigations to trace the relatives of the unknown woman found murdered on Sunday, 25 February, as well as possible suspects.

The victim had sustained multiple stab wounds to the body and her throat was slashed.

She was certified dead at the scene.

The deceased is estimated to be roughly 30 years old, light in complexion, of medium build, average in height, and with short hair. She was wearing blue jeans and a yellow T-shirt, and was without shoes.

Next to the body was a wig and a white cap.

No one has come forward to claim the deceased, and the body is still at the Welkom Government Morgue.

There was no blood at the scene, so it is suspected that she was murdered elsewhere and then dumped near the cemetery.
