The police have launched a manhunt for an unknown man in connection with the murder of a 26-year-old woman in Lindsay Road, Welkom.
The woman, identified as Tiisetso Mokhooa, was found in some bushes next to Lindsay Road. She had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim’s friends saw a man running from the bushes near the road. They approached the area, and found the deceased lying on her back. She was bleeding profusely and the lower part of her body was undressed. They reported the matter to the police, and a case of murder was registered.
The suspect is dark in complexion, has a medium build, bearded cheeks, and sports dreadlocks. He was wearing a brown hat, black trousers, and brown jacket.
