The McLaren Circus promises new thrills and spills for its audience in 2026, and circus patrons are promised an exhilarating experience with breathtaking arial acts and performances from world class performers.
McLaren Circus has been delighting South African audiences since 2005, bringing the magic of a traditional circus to families across the country. In 2026, the circus raises the bar with one of its most exciting touring productions to date.
The circus will be in Welkom from 4 until 8 February.

Known for spectacular performing animals and a talented mix of local and international performers, McLaren Circus continues to deliver thrilling entertainment with a vibrant, modern edge while honouring classic circus tradition.
For the first time in 26 years, a full Flying Trapeze will travel the country, taking audiences high into the air with breathtaking aerial skill, strength, and daring. Adding to the excitement is the long awaited return of the Globe of Death, one of the most requested acts by circus fans, featuring heart pounding motorcycle stunts performed at incredible speed inside a steel sphere.
Touring all nine provinces of South Africa, McLaren Circus presents a highly rated family show packed with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable moments for all ages. This season promises a blend of tradition and adrenaline.
