Dimpho Cathrine Moyaki (17) was crowned second princess in the Miss Free State Teen pageant, which was held on 23 April at the Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein.
Dimpho hails from Virginia, and is a Gr. 12 learner at the Harmony High School.
“From a very young age I dreamed of walking the runways, and to be the face of magazines,” she says.
“To accomplish this I knew I had to work very hard. Due of lack of opportunities in the area I am from, I decided to join a modelling academy in Welkom.”
Dimpho says this step helped her to identify her talent, develop self-confidence and hone her modelling skills.
During her modelling career she has won many top modelling certificates and awards, including being named Miss Congeniality 2021 at the modelling agency in Welkom.
“I want to thank Chrisna Kasselman of Ace Models for always supporting me in my chosen career,” says Dimpho.
She has also done promotional work at a local radio station.
“I have always had a giving heart when it comes to people in need and using my platform to uplift the thoughts and sentiments of mankind. When I entered Miss Free State Teen, I not only did it for myself, but for the thousands of young girls in our communities”.
