Hailing from Welkom, Lisema Matsietsi has made waves on the national writing scene.
Matsietsi lived in the community from 1987 until he left for university in 2005.
He has authored a groundbreaking book titled Being An Analyst: Managing Yourself for Success and Unleashing Your Potential in the Knowledge Economy.
The book aims to equip the youth with vital analytical skills.
“This book is the definitive guide to unlocking the transformative potential of informed decision-making and supercharging your analytical skills,” said Matsietsi.
Matsietsi’s journey from Welkom to national recognition is inspiring.
Having attended the Paballong Intermediate School, he earned a bursary through an essay-writing competition in 2001, which enabled him to attend the Unitas Secondary School in Welkom.
This opportunity allowed him to escape poverty as a result of parents’ divorce and pursue his education. Now, he returns with a wealth of knowledge to share, hoping to inspire and empower the youth in his hometown and beyond.
“This book is my way of giving back and helping to shape the workforce of the future.”
